I live in the Garden of Ireland, though my own garden isn't up to much. It's half wild, unkempt, with a couple of flowerbeds and veggie patches. Just the way I like it. Wild enough to bring in the squirrel, the hedgehogs and foxes, along with a crazy variety of insects. In a former life, I was an environmental activist, a wildlife rescue worker, a zookeeper, a teacher, freelance journalist. I've been taking photos pretty much all my life, but it has really become a passion in the past couple of years when I got my first DSLR. Nowadays I sometimes work with foreign trainees who come here for work experience.
